After numerous trips to the luggage store and a day long search for the checkbook that was packed we embarked for Ireland. Laura delivered us to Epply where getting through TSA was a complete pat down for Buster. United flight to Chicago was smooth and on time. We wandered around O'Hare looking for the elevator to change terminals. The third one was finally the right one.
When we walked into the International Terminal the line for TSA was 2 blocks long with a 2-3 hour wait. Sandy pulled out the handicap card at the Are Lingus counter and Buster rode in a wheelchair to the front of the line with Sandy in tow. Another pat down for Buster! Our wheelchair driver hooked us up with a golf cart ride to the gate. Well played card by Sandy!
Aer Lingus was excellent!! Couple bottles of Jameson and our special meals were superb. Sandy watched a couple of movies and the 7 1/2 hours flew by.
Arriving in Dublin confirmed that Sandy is Irish. Lady wheelchair driver was very entertaining and we were not offended by the colorful language. We learned a new pronunciation for an old word, "Foock". The cab driver to the Hilton was even better.
