Yep, my trip to India started 30 minutes early. After pressing the snooze button twice on my phone, I called upon all my willpower to roll off the couch, and get ready. Up so late the night before, didn't want to wake anyone, so decided to crash on the couch... I'd still get to hug & kiss in the morning right? Wrong! Just after making a cup of tea and toast...the cab pulled up... 30 minutes early. Family still asleep, suitcase still open waiting for last minute 'need-to-still-throw-in's...
So we left in a hurry... Without goodbyes... That.Was.Tough...
But thankfully we said our goodbyes on the phone while driving to Utrecht.
From Utrecht we took the train to Frankfurt, and from there we flew to Dubai. At Dubai we were able to arrange one of those cool indoor cars to drive us to our transfer gate, as Rosalind was having some trouble with the long walks between security and gates and such...
With our flight to Dubai we were seated together, but not on the flight to Kolkata. The disappointment lasted maybe 10 minutes... Then we both fell asleep for most of the flight :)
