Checked out at 6.45. Stopped at services to fill out departure cards and apply for visa. Arrived and amount bags into carts. Georgia asked if steep hill was disable access, this turned into joke for the whole trip. the deep hill was the help carry suitcases on. Stood in bottom of stairs for photos. Stood in small boiling room for check points. Lots of people, we put a dollar into the passports so that they checked them quickly. Public bus to define station then got own bus with wifi. Stopped off at a restaurant where I had egg tried rice which had weird small sausages. they called it american style rice, it was corn and peas with sausages in. Then we had an accident next to cute temple, driving here is crazy and some guy came into out lane and we hit the corner of their car, we actually stopped though which surprised me. Lots of skinny cows and chickens. Drove past houses on stilts as houses get flooded. Checked into Mekong hotel. Tuc Tucs to home cooked dinner. Lady provided education and trips for local children for free. Amazing food. Potato curry, pork and noodles, chicken in a banana leaf and rice. Ate under canopy on the floor. Chatted and played with children. Tuc Tucs home to night market. Me and Amy went to temple bar. We were going to eat scorpion but decided the trip is long and we will do it eventually. The market is crazy here, so many people so many weird foods. its crazy fun though. i learnt that there was a cvil war in 1975-1979 and 95% of population don't like the president.
