We were up by 6.30am as our bus was leaving at 9am.
It was a nice journey through the country side with only two stops to collect other passengers in Rouen & Ames.
We arrived into Lille at 2.50pm & walked to our apartment in the city centre. We passed a number of statues with Eldorado on them & also staging being set up. We were a little early & waited for our host to arrive, she arrived with sheets, towels etc & apologised as the previous guests were very late checking out so they hadn’t finished the service, at least we were able to leave our bags & when we got back from the supermarket they had finished. We’ve struggled to get the combination oven working tonight so had a slight menu change.
