Around the World in Many Days, IV: Taiwan
And so ends the fourth leg of our journey, in which we circled Taiwan.
To sum up the 37 days:
- 1 day of flight from Laos to Taiwan
- 13 days in Taipei
- 5 days in the North
- 4 days in the East
- 8 days in the South
- 6 days in the Centre
We covered more than 1,800 kilometres in total, about 900 kilometres by train, about 700 kilometres by regional bus, and the rest by local bus, subway, taxi, bicycle, ferry, cable car, hitch hiking, etc.
We stayed at 6 different hotels and guesthouses, and at 3 different Airbnb rooms, for a total of 36 nights.
