Yes, I'm really behind, but plan to get all caught up soon.

So our first full day on the boat Colin and I have many things planned. First we are heading to an Informal Card Play in the Irish pub. Evidently no one was interested in card play at 9:00 am so it was Colin and I playing war and polish poker.

Next up was Movie Quotes trivia. Colin went into this very confident. Well it didn't really work out how we imagined. 25 quotes, We got 11 right. Worse than that we had around 7 or 8 blanks. Many of the ones we missed we knew the lines, but couldn't come up with the movie. I said we

really needed Lon Bumgarner. Colin said that would have been cheating.

After that it was time for our first tasting seminar...this one was wine. Omigosh Colin was so much fun to watch. Our first wine was a white wine very dry with a lot of burn. His face was just hilarious. We tried five wines, I found two of them to be ok, but Colin decided he wasn't a wine drinker.

After that we really needed something to eat! And yes, after we eat we go off to drink some more. This time we did the mixology seminar. Colin enjoyed this a lot more. We had a whiskey drink neither of us liked, then we had a "simulation" Dr. Pepper which was meant to imitate the taste of the shot into beer and chug.

So this is where is got completely hilarious. Our instructor wanted to play a drinking game. So he pulled four tickets and those people would be in the game. Colin turned to me and said, "Oh no, I can't do that." For the last night the guy called "Callie", but with his accent it sounded like Colin. The sudden fear and relief were just hilarious. I am still laughing about that. We finished off with a martini and mojito which Colin enjoyed.

As a farewell, he brought out a version of a 151 shot. Kailua, Bailey's and Grand Marnier. By this point Colin had drank more than I had, but I encouraged him to at least have a taste of the shot. He picks it up and

shoots the whole thing. I said, "Not the whole thing! I can't believe you did that." Once the facial spasm ended he said, "I can't believe I just did that."

With both of us a little tipsy, we headed in to a BINGO game. Now this is where I have to talk about the entertainment crew members. The people who plan/run many of the events on board like the trivia and BINGO. They are HILARIOUS. This Bingo game we were laughing just as much as playing Bingo. Colin got so close to winning a couple times. He really had fun with the Bingo.

It was time to get ready for dinner. Tonight was formal night. Of course Colin didn't want to get dressed up, but I insisted. We had an excellent meal and managed to get a couple pictures. Tomorrow is our first day ashore in Italy.
