Deb & Rash Sahota's 2 Years in Edinburgh
Thursday really nice evening so Drove to Cramond Beach which had been recommend to us. Lovely place where if you get the tides right you can walk out too a small island. Walked around the village and pretty harbour then along the beach front.
Friday: Walked tonight to Bruntsfield & Morning Side. Stopped off for a curry at the Clay Oven. Then back for drinks at No: 8 Lister Square.
Saturday: Glorious day so caught the train for our first trip to Glasgow. Looked at lovely buildings in the main square then walked around the shopping centre. Had a nice lunch then caught the train back. Definately not as nice as Edinburgh. Played golf for the first time on the Meadows Bruntsfield par 3 golf course in the evening. Got slaughtered by Rash.
Sunday took a lovely walk around the bottom of Arthurs seat. Had a nice coffee at Holyrood Palace cafe then off up to Carlton Hill to look at the monuments. Great views from the top. Nice glass of wine just off the Royal Mile on the way back home for roast dinner.
