Calgary to San Francisco

We took the RV back this morning and picked up our hire car. We managed to cram everything and everybody in and set off on a shopping trip. First stop Michaels craft store where there were lots of tempting items some of which made their way into the shopping trolley! Next stop Target, where Evie found a bed for her doll which she decided would be a nice birthday present from me and Pete, and Rachel found some things for school. By this time Scott had given up and gone back to the car and I went to get a cup of coffee. We managed to pack the extra shopping in the car and set off again, this time to Justice, a tween girls shop. Scott had completely given up by now so stayed in the car and as we only had a one hour parking space we had no time to spare. Again Evie found things she ‘really needed’ but settled on a locker for her doll and Lola tried on clothes but seemed to be between sizes so didn’t get anything. We eventually set off to drive down to Santa Cruz. After settling into the hotel we walked down to the beach and boardwalk where Lola was ecstatic about all the rides she’d be able to go on. It all looked very nice lit up as we walked along to find something to eat.
