Calgary to San Francisco
Everyone had a lie in this morning after getting up early yesterday and having a tiring day. Rachel and Scott went off to look for beer glasses and I went down to the swimming pool with Lola and Evie. They spent a lovely hour swimming around inside and outside. After lunch we walked into Heavenly Village which is on the Nevada border. It is also the base camp for the Heavenly ski resort which can be reached by the gondola in the village. It is quite unique as when you get to the top you can either ski the California runs or those in Nevada. We looked round the shops, had a game of crazy golf and an ice cream before walking back to our resort. We passed a monument representing and honouring the Washoe tribe who were the original inhabitants of Lake Tahoe. It was then time to start packing as our time here has come to an end.
