We were up early and down the hill we walked, camera gear in full array! To the walls we headed for an amazing 2+ hour stroll on TOP of the walls with views that were so inspiring.
At lunchtime, we grabbed a pizza in the town at a small shop and headed by boat to Lokrum Island Monestary. Lokrum Monastery has created a nature preserve/botanical garden on their private island. It is quiet and really a beautiful spot away from the business of town.
Steve swam just off the coast in the clear blue sea while we meandered through the park taking photos of peacocks and rabbits!
We headed back to our hotel for a Lightroom lesson with Roman. After a late afternoon rest, we drove to the small town of Cavtat and enjoyed the boats, the sunset and dinner. Cavtat is set within an idyllic, horseshoe shaped harbor and many boats are moored in its quiet waterfront. What a day!
