BUTTERFLY AND INSECT KINGDOM

AFTER VISTING THE WONDERFUL PEARL FARM WE REACHED THE "PENANG BUTTERFLY AND INSECT KINGDOM'.
There was a fabulous educational section where kids would not only see insects, both native to Thailand and other parts of the world, but they would have been able to learn all about them too. There were several butterfly species in a large covered

garden area and fifty fish tanks filled with sea life within the grounds.You could have watched the craziest video too. It showed how eggs were transformed into caterpillars and then finally into butterflies.
Should you have gotten hold of a brochure, you'd have found a section showing a layout of the whole place and also a piece telling you to imagine walking through a tropical garden full of flowers while thousands of butterflies flutter all around you.
And don't be surprised if this all seemed like a perfect fantasy world. Though you might not have gotten to see thousands of these creatures, you'd probably only find a few hundred of them. Perhaps the rest were in various stages of metamorphosis.
