New-Zealand

I bought a car!!! (and took an entire morning to clean it :P ) It took us (Pop and I) a few rides to Mt Somers, a trip to the mechanics, a ride back to get Pop's car (with Kim and the kids, because they were going nuts inside) and then bringing the car home..

I love my new ride.. It looks alright, the sent was horrible (but mostly removed or covered with some other lovely oder) and it has a radio that works and can do cd's and USB =D After all the theoretical stuff is done, I'll be able to do road trips and have a lot of fun with this one.. I can even put a matras in the back and have a few nights in there.. Can't wait (until the smell is gone)!

First day of the week and we already got a surprise visit from Helen (neighbor) and Isabelle (granddaughter) today. She had this cool, homemade cart! Awesome =D He is (if possible) even more fancy then mine.. Jack new very well how to ride it and even Grace got a ride.. Isabelle was very sweet with pushing the cart gently. She's only 5 but not shy at all and very kind and polite..

The rest of the week was very similar.. The weather had heaps of ups and downs which ment staying inside a lot, doing a lot of baking (chocolate cake for dad's welcome back; sausage rolls; spaghetti spiders; chocolate breads and muffins). As soon as the weather was a wee bit better, we got outside and walked to the store or bakery (Jack is getting really good on his bike.. Legs up!! ).

Thursday was kind of depressing.. The morning sun was shining brightly, I decided to pack heaps of snacks, drinks, picnic blanket and toys to go to the park with the kids.. Everything was ready during their nap and by the time they got up.. It started raining!!

There was even HAIL!! We end up having the picnic in the living room and building another tent.. Love the tunnel entrances =D

What was going to be a very chill weekend with not much planned, ended up pretty full.. =D The 2 courses at the gym made me very soar (damn you squads!!) but it didn't keep me from skyping with mom and dad (I don't know what to expect on my birthday..), having lunch at Nanma's, driving to Waimate to visit Anna and celebrate Greatnana's Birthday (16th of September.. What a lovely day)

Btw, we were finally able to make Grace a ponytail ;D Way better than a mullet and SUPERcute =D

Nice meeting you, Erica, Bryan, Jamie and Micah (and all the other relatives :) ) I had a lovely weekend and enjoyed feeling like a part of this very kind family <3
