I started my journey early in the morning amidst the greenery of Cooch Behar, my home town. The winter chill made it impossible for me wake up in the morning at the first place, but the temptation of meeting the queen of the hills was way above.
Boarding the bus i was enjoying my ride wondering what my friends were up to . Staying in the hotel room of a place unknown to them, the picture they shared earlier already made me jealous of the fun they were having......

I started my journey early in the morning amidst the greenery of Cooch Behar, my home town. The winter chill made it impossible for me wake up in the morning at the first place, but the temptation of meeting the queen of the hills was way above.
Boarding the bus i was enjoying my ride wondering what my friends were up to . Staying in the hotel room of a place unknown to them, the picture they shared earlier already made me jealous of the fun they were having......
We met and we started......
The journey came with a pit stop, of course we had to take the refreshing 'Chai'. After all we were going to the place famous for the various flavors of Tea it offers.
A new experience begun we knew we will be cherishing throughout our lives........
We reached our destination and checked in to the hotel near the town center. Without further delay we went out to fill our stomach with the delicacies the hills had to offer to us. We stopped at The Park Restaurant, filled ourselves to our delight and then begun our stroll through the old alleys and ways of the winter capital of colonial India.
We saw the heritage rail "Toy Train". An almost 150 year old church which I guess our Great Grandparents must have visited. Also a karate national championship, though we did not enter inside, just a pose was enough.
We were tired. So we had an early dinner at KFC. It was like the most modern thing in the most old surrounding. One can call that an experience of its own.......
