Yamas!
Today we spent a fun day at sea aboard the Thomson Spirit. We had a leisurely morning, and then had some difficulty finding chairs around the pool deck. We had met a couple from England the night before, named Dave and Michelle, and they invited us to join them at their table for a fun day in the sun. It was a beautiful hot day, and it was sure nice to have the ocean breeze keeping us cooler! In photo #1, Kelley is actually drinking a beer and in photo #2, we are enjoying the Mediterranean sunshine!
Later in the afternoon, we got all dressed up for the Captain's Formal night dinner. There were a lot of men in tuxedos, so Pete and Jim fit right in...but likely theirs weren't from Value Village! (Photos 3, 4 and 5) We had a delicious dinner in the formal dining room, and we all tried mussels for the first time (Karen; not sure about this...photo #6!) Kelley tried a Waldorf salad too! (Photo #7) We all agreed, the food was pretty good!
After dinner, Karen and Kelley went to the Broadway show, while the men went to the deck for a cigar and brandy! See what happened when we left them alone for an hour!! (photo 8!)
