Deathsburg

As my mom really wanted to visit strausburg, and we were right at the border of France, we went to the lovely little town. Unfortunately it was the hottest day ever to be in a city. Also everything happens to be closed on Tuesdays LOL. The cathedral was closed, the museum my mom wanted to see was closed, and when we tried to book a canal tour they were all sold out. And carissa and my mom walked 45 minutes to find that out even though we could've just walked down to the pier and saw it for ourselves LOL. but good for them they have to get their 7 miles of daily walking in on this trip!

But we still had some nice times strolling around if we pretended it wasn't hot, and ate some quiche's and tried to salvage the day hahaha.

Walking along the canal was really pretty and the oldtown was really cute, though we passed through that real quick hahahah.

We then headed back to Zunsweier round 2 to see the other family(my dad's uncle and cousins who we didn't know and also only spoke german) They were also all really nice and we met two of our(after much research and googling) SECOND COUSINS! Marcel & Simone and that was really nice as they spoke some english so we could have a conversation which was nice LOL. we took their dog for a walk and got to see family album books and see my dad when he was a kid which was craaaazyy, he looks just like nathan. and he's

so much older than his siblings he's like a giant in one picture when they're little babies lol.

Was a nice relaxing time after Strausburg hahahah.

Another solid day of family and not knowing how to communicate but still having a great time hahahah. Our cousins may visit us in America which would be really nice. It's interesting the people out there who you don't know exist lol.
