Hayden's Journal!

I just arrived at my neighbor Keith's house. He is about 50 years old and has had this farm probably most of his life. The farm he owns is the farm that is right down the road from me. Here he comes now! I am going to jot down what he has to say to my question...
"Howdy Keith I was wondering if you can answer a quick question for me real quick and that question is: Can you tell me your Point of View on what people are calling The Great Depression?"

"Ok. I guess you can have a view minutes of my time. Well my view is that this is terrible. All of my crops are basically destroyed because of the Dust Bowl. If you were wondering how the Dust Bowl occurred it was because of a severe storm came and it was not your average storm that I had been wishing for which is RAIN but instead I got dust. This event has destroyed all of my crops that were here and also ruins my opportunities to be able to plant more seeds since my soil is all dried out. I am losing so much money since I am unable to sell my crops at the markets and I am also have a hard time feeding my livestock with such terrible soil. Each day this farm is getting harder and harder to support with loosing money. This needs to clear up quick because with out my small rhubarb patch my wife can't make me my pie and without my pie I AM a grumpy man."

"Well thank you for your time Sir and I wish you the best of luck."
