Hello reader! I am making my way to Mali and have seen some pretty exciting things on my way down. There are more people than I expected to see, and it looks like people from all different places! Ive noticed a lot of gold being traded for things like salt and animal hides, and I mean LOTS of gold. There are people pulling caravans on camels, and even a few rest stops called, "Caravanserais". Im almost to Mali now but I figured I would document a brief summary of what I've seen along the trade route before getting there. See you in Mali soon!
