Dreams come true!!

Finally, stepped into God's own country. We were there for Meghna's wedding, but, actually, more to bag a memorable trip. There was no proper planning, as we were not sure what Meghna had in mind. I had a rough plan to cover Nelliyampathi one day, and the dam and the fort the other day. But on Uncle's fear of landslide (:P), went to the dam on the first day. The scorching heat did no good and we were all exhausted and tired just looking for some shade. The view from and cool breeze on the dam was refreshing, though. Yeah, and the ropeway was fun. :)
Tired we headed home, and the parotas with fish curry was lip smacking awesome (but could not beat the fish we had at nagurjana

Tired we headed home, and the parotas with fish curry was lip smacking awesome (but could not beat the fish we had at nagurjana

sagar).
The next day I alone attended the Meghna's wedding, while the lord was happily sleeping. Ahh, how much I loved the simple Kerala wedding. The simple kerala silk saree and Tulsi mala added a divine touch.
After having the complimentary breakfast provided in the Boon Inn, got ready and left to Jobby's mall to attend the wedding reception. Meghna looked drop dead gorgeous in the bridal attire <3. Though, there was a delay in lunch arrangements, the food was tasty and filling.
Then we said our byes and headed to Tippu's fort. The place was huge and well maintained, with greenery around. What made the day special was, the cool breeze and the lively talk we had. With the busy lives and smartphones constantly disturbing, it's been a really long time since I felt the close friendship between us.
So, the rope way, cool breeze on the dam, the fish and the parota, long

walks, photo-shoots and the talk in tipu's fort are what I took as cherished memories from this trip.

Peace & Love.
Tejaswi.
