Alaska RV Trip

Are we crazy, or what? Saturday night, after getting into Canada, we watched with fascination as the refrigerator temperature, once again, began to rise. In the morning we agonized over what to do. Go home or go north? We decided to keep heading north, with a plan to stop in Prince George, purchase a small refrigerator and somehow bolt it to the floor inside the trailer. So we had another long driving day (but, boy was it stunning), trying to get as close to Prince George as possible. We made it as far as Williams Lake…..and guess what? The fridge is back down to 37 degrees….it is beyond nerve wracking.
After leaving Williams Lake, we made a quick trip to Prince George yesterday in order to go to Costco, Walmart and Home Depot to gather everything we needed for our possible mini fridge installation.

We spent the night in Prince George and took off this morning to get nearer to our starting off point with the caravan. We found a lovely little RV park in Houston, BC and we are enjoying our early arrival and the 80 degree temperature. I think we will take a few deep breaths and RELAX!
