I started planning route : First and foremost thing I checked blogs most notably Teambhp ones.
Broad look framed for the route : Bangalore - Mumbai - Vadodra - Jaipur - Delhi [NH4, NH8....State Highways]

I worked on refining this route and studied this route on internet. All seemed well set when tension started to grew in Gujarat : Patel's protest. I have to shift my plans of traversing through the golden quadrilateral and decide on alternate route.

Brain storming, checking on internet, asking people, the route finalized was Bangalore - Pune - Indore - Jaipur - Delhi.
[NH4, NH3, NH59, NH 79] all sources Googled.

My cousin : Simran Singh Tiwana, commercial pilot, helped my take the best route checking on his navigation app.
I noted all major cities in my notes from the map and divided the stretch in days.

Day 1 : Bangalore - Pune : 840 kms.
Day 2 : Pune - Indore : 600+kms (Still to confirm on this route here)
Day 3 : Indore - Jaipur : 600+kms
Day 4 : Jaipur - Delhi : 261 kms

And I went to sleep dreaming of the roads, with next day plan in mind for luggage, places to stay along, health of bike and so on.........
