Ganga Kinare, Aarti and Yoga

In the morning Pradeep picked us up and took us to the plush and luxurious Ganga Kinare Boutique Hotel, a picture speaks a thousand words!! We unpacked and decompressed in this lovely peaceful oasis of calm away from the beeping traffic, all the rooms had a river view. Right on the banks of the Ganges looking across to the National Park, the Hotel has it’s own Aarti Celebration every morning and night, giving thanks to the bounty the Ganges brings. Hot tub, Aarti and then dinner! Everything from risotto to vegeburgers and of course delicious curry :). Lots of smiling faces, comfortable beds and lots of hot water!

Over the next few days we got plenty of chances to practice in the Ganga Kinare’s top floor Yoga studio with fantastic views of the Ganges and National Park. It really was a highlight with its wonderful views and tranquil atmosphere. It was lovely to see children practicing at school on a nearby rooftop.
