My gap year in Australia

In August we went to Darwin with a campvave that we have rent in Perth

The first week ,
After picking up the camper at Nambung National Park, we discovered the desert landscapes and stunning coastline of Western Australia and Kimberley in this ultimate land adventure.

It may be a cliché, but life is all about travel. I have to explore the main points of interest between Perth and Darwin at a faster pace, really getting under the skin of a place.

Enjoy the flexibility of a private vehicle, the local knowledge of a passionate guide and the magic of camping under the great southern skies, the Australian.

The breeding stations, the red soil and the mining communities of Pilbara are reminiscent of sun-baked Australia that many people imagine.

Hiking and swimming in the ancient gorges and water points of Karijini National Park.

Accommodation on the first half of this trip and Broome is multishare, which means there are no private rooms. We spent a few nights sleeping on the campgrounds in a loot (Australian bed) in permanent two-bed tents. Although the conditions are very basic, it's all part of the adventure.

It's a real journey by land, and travel is a big part of the experience. Some days of travel, we spent several hours in the camper, often through very desert areas. On the benefited landscapes that we have been in any other form of travel.

This trip to a decent level of agility and endurance because it involves a lot of walking, which allowed us to really get into nature. The hikes in the Kimberley are particularly difficult. Luckily we bought sturdy and comfortable walking shoes and comfortable clothes.

Temperatures in Australia can be extreme. During the day, the weather can be hot (and the Australian sun is strong) so we needed proper clothing, sunscreen and plenty of water. In the evening, the temperatures really drop, so you had to have basic sofas and warm clothes.

At the Kalbarri National Park. We were strolling through the park's varied landscapes, including Murchison Gorge, Loop Walk and Nature's Window. After a steep descent into Z-Bend Gorge, we took a refreshing dip in the river. We could have had even more adventure, because there is also a possibility of a reminder, but we were not expensing more money. After lunch, we head to the beautiful Shell Beach, which is one of two beaches in the world entirely made up of seashells. Then we were back on the road and continued to Denham and Shark Bay.
Note: The total driving time is today about four hours. Total walking distance is about five kilometers.
