Tucson Tears

Tucson Az, 03/21/2017

I was able to make a trip to Tucson to see friends and to see Barbara. The week was fun, but the tears started when I woke up on the last day. I knew saying goodbye to Barbara was going to be the hard. She keeps her emotions in and it is always hard to understand how she's really feeling. I guess after being her mom for 30 years I would get used to this and understand. I can say I at least can deal with it better as she gets older.

I'm so proud of what she is doing, working three jobs and school. Plus all of her managers and peers think the world of her. When I went to say goodbye at the hospital she brought her manager down to meet me. Knowing she has a strong support system makes me leaving easier.

I'm not sure my kids know how much I love them and how being their mom is my greatest achievement.
