Welcome Home

Tucson, 04/22/2018

We arrived in Tucson right on time. First stop was to buy me a new bed, then grab the keys to my house at Barbara’s. Then off to my house. First challenge was we couldn’t get the keys to open the doors. Colette persevered, and we got in. I was amazed at the size of the house, looks so much larger in person.

Then it was off to Michelle and Britain’s to spend the night. Michelle was not there, she was up in Kearney overseeing her smelter project. We crashed early there since we were tired from driving all day.
Next day it was back to Tucson to meet the movers. Shop for furniture and try to find my way around. The highlight of our days in Tucson was me taking Colette to every breakfast place I know in Tucson.

Having Colette here with me was great. We go so much accomplished and she is great at talking me in off the ledge when the stress got too much. We also had time to relax. Going to the movies and binging on Season Three of our favorite Sci Fi show, The Magicians.

I dropped Colette off at the airport on Wednesday. We will plan a visit back to Tucson, for 2019 in time to see Season Three!

I am enjoying my new home, especially the work that needs to be done in the garden.

I like having Barb close enough to do our binge watching of Dateline reruns and eventually our shopping marathons to TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross.
