Day one

Dear diary!
Today was our first day. At 8:00 o’clock we were at the airport. Everything went well except that Nojus (a student) had not booked the right flight. He had to fly to Frankfurt and then to Malta. We flew 2.5 hours and Alba and I played Mario cart and Mario Party. Then a bus picked us up and brought us to our host families. Bea Verena and me were in the same family. The lady was very friendly and we have a big house with lots of decoration. I loved all the dolls because my French grandma has them too. They had a piano, and told me that we can use it if we want. Verena used as always too much sun screen and we went with our host mother to the bus station. We managed to take the bus but many others didn’t, they needed to go by foot to the school. After we looked at the school we went to a shopping center. On our way there we saw that the streets were really dirty and I was wearing Flipflops. There are many night clubs too. At

the mall we went into a fake Victorias secret shop and wanted to dye our hair pink. It was Konstantins idea but we decided to wait until tomorrow to decide. Then we waited 30 minutes for the bus to arrive. In the bus the boys put their head outside the window it was really fun to watch. After that we went with Niklas and Theodor to a mini supermarket and bought some snacks. Then we got from our host mother a vegan Lasania because Verena is vegetarian. She said that tomorrow she will make the normal Lasagnia because she prefers it. At 21:45 Verena and bea went upstairs and until now 22:14 they are still up there. I am FaceTiming with friends and will go to sleep soon. Little update they are still up and are laughing too loud I can not sleep. Konsti, Lorenz and Christoph are playing Risiko and I think Lorenz is winning. Now it’s the next day but we went to sleep at 24:00 o’clock. The girls that slept in our room were really nice but we didn’t exchange Snap our numbers. We couldn’t stop laughing for one hour and we only understood a few words. When we all wanted to sleep a guy on the road screamed and we said ach komm halt’s Maul and they said curva and we understood us. I really like our house and host mother. There are other kids here too. Two Hungarians that leave tonight and a Asian girl that lives with her host mother since 6 months. I hope everything goes well.
