Rubin's European Adventure
Groot Begjinhof is like stepping back in time! It was founded in the year 1205, built by nuns, it was at its busiest in the 17th century! Today it is a world heritage site (UNESCO)! When we first arrived I was shocked by how old it is, I knew it would be old, but not that old! When we arrived there were bikes EVERYWHERE! We could also hear the church bell ringing. The roads are cobbled and the houses are old and made of bricks!! In the apartment Osh and I have to share a bedroom. Inside it it is toasty but outside it is freezing! On our first morning it SNOWED!
