My best friend from Belgium flew all around the world to visit me: and this week has been truly amazing!
We turned on tourist mode and did all the typical Beijing attractions:
- the great wall (we even climbed up to the forbidden part, were nature was untouched... beautiful!)
- we visited some hutongs
- the temple of heaven
- the old summer palace
- the forbidden city
- karaoke
- parties (incl. midnight snacks, I finally learned how to play chapeau and we barely missed to see Flo Rida!)
- enjoying the Beijing food
- buying typical souvenirs (both fake and real)
- visited a glass bridge upon a mountain
- I finally saw Kung Fu panda
- the last days we ended up hunting sprite bottles, even though both of us don't even like to drink sprite... ;)
- and so much more...! :D
Since there are so many memories it's hard to write down a summary. And as you all know: a picture says more than a thousand words! ^^

P.S.: this week I had my first classes! So when Helena got to sleep in, I was in the morning lessons... Unfortunately we immediately got a lot of homework as well, so even less sleep for me. :o
