Our stop this morning was in the small city of Edfu. We were met by horse and buggies and driven to the Temple of Horus, the falcon- god and god of war and horizon. This temple is very well preserved, full of stories about Horus and the pharaoh, good examples of hieroglyphics. Waleed walked us through the temple explaining the various functions of each section.

Edfu and along the Nile
Our stop this morning was in the small city of Edfu. We were met by horse and buggies and driven to the Temple of Horus, the falcon- god and god of war and horizon.
