The Surf Sabbatical

With a heart full of gratitude for the last couple of months, we now find ourselves in Costa Rica. Santa Teresa, to be exact! Yesterday was a healthy travel day, literally planes, trains and automobiles (oh, and a ferry too), so we’re taking it easy today. We walked around, got some phenomenal, and very cheap, Costa Rican food (casado and gallo pinto, rice and beans alllll day for me baby!), checked out the surf, and now we’re just laying low out of the sun for a couple of hours before we surf. Our hostel/guesthouse is awesome. It’s a really low-key, bare bones place but the communal areas are perfect for meeting new people, which we did last night. We’re super stoked to be here and have already discussed just planting here for a little longer than we had intended, but that is still TBD.
