Day 18 - Wayne

Butte, Montana, 07.17.2017

Not much to show for today other that more amazing roadside scenery on the trip from Jackson, WY through eastern Idaho up into Butte, MT for an overnight stay. The campground is right off I-15 and promises to provide some nice traffic white noise for sleeping.
Wayne checked us in. He lives in a 1975 trailer right off the entrance and said that he keeps his trailer hot all winter long because he reinsulated the walls and added a wood-burning stove. Says that when it hits 30 below (whoa) his rig is between 75 and 85 degrees inside. That’s impressive. I wanted to know why he’d want to live in a trailer at 85 degrees, but thought better about it and didn’t ask. Nice guy, though. Shows how people can get by and enjoy life on very little income.
That’s pretty much it for today. If not for Wayne, this might just be a blank page with great landscape photos of Idaho and Montana (see below)…….
