Day 15 - Touring

Yellowstone National Park, 07.15.2017

This is our last day in Yellowstone. We headed out for a hike along the south rim of the Canyon. Unfortunately, an area of the walk that we wanted to take was under construction and the trail was closed. We decided to revisit the area of the Canyon the we really enjoyed. We went to Artist Point with the wonderful views of the falls on the Yellowstone River. We decided that this was our favorite part of the park (followed by the Lake area).

We had to get back to get a big wash done (2 weeks of clothing, bedding and towels) and give the Airstream a good cleaning.

This has been a great visit. Yellowstone is truly a magnificent park - the granddaddy of the National Parks. It is well run by a private company - Xanterra rather than the U.S. Government. No wonder it’s so efficient and enjoyable ;)

Off tomorrow to the Tetons!
