Happy Birthday Canada from Poland......

Krakow, 07.01.2017

Got up late after an emotional day yesterday. Wanted to take a relaxing day. Left around noon to go the Schindler Factory Museum. Quite a different kind of museum. Very nicely put together. Is set up in one of his original factories in Krakow. Basically set up as history of Poland through World War II. Has all sorts of videos and writings of eye witness accounts. Has a little bit about Schindler and what his involvement was. Very enjoyable and informative. Not a place for pictures but lots of info. Got back to the main square by 5pm in time to have a meal of perogies and Georgian stew. Quite tasty and we were very full from that. Had tickets to visit the underground medieval market at 6:30. Thought it wouldn't be much, but turns out it was

quite big and informative as well. They had made it into a museum as well with the history of Krakow from the 10th century until now. Again a bit of a pleasant surprise. Really enjoyed both places today. Got back to the room about 8:30 tired but satisfied for a good day!
