Fathers Day in Buda (with a) Pest.

Budapest, 06.18.2017

A fantastic day in a fabulous place. Decided to spend the day roaming the city of Budapest. Went to the Citadella, Buda Palace, Fisherman's Bastion, a couple of churches, Shoes on the Danube, and the Parliament Buildings as well as many other sites on the way. We were very tired when we hit the Parliament Buildings but still were going to go to the Basilica on the way back to our place. Ended up in a craft beer and Hungarian food festival by mistake. Thank god for mistakes! Spent the rest of the afternoon eating, drinking beer, and listening to an AC/DC cover band. Perfect ending to a really

good day. The food was great, beer was good as the food, and the band was pretty good. Katelyn pulled off a great Father's Day. We will remember this day for a long time. Katelyn has made the statement "she could live here and will definitely be back". I don't disagree with her. What an awesome place! Look forward to a relaxing day at some Turkish baths. Have booked a sunset cruise on the Danube which will be relaxing. Budapest has lived up to it's reputation as a wild unpredictable place.
