Ships log day 63

Timor Sea, 08.03.2017

All at sea hot and sunny travelled 17,800 miles. Tomorrow we park up at Komodo Island the home of the Komodo Dragon a very big lizard. I have some really great news I weighed myself today for the first time and have only put on 2 stone so far which means a small increase of 4 stone for the whole trip, well chuffed. This good news means I have finally recovered from my anorexia problem. We are in the ring of fire where the earths plates meet and cause the land to spring up and make this area full of volcanoes. We have just had a great rock and roll show and brought back memories of radio Luxembourg as a teenager. The ships tender to the Island with these huge reptiles, they catch goats and eat them whole, sometimes they ram the goat up against a tree to help push it down their throats and in doing so sometimes knock the tree down. 35 degrees today and very humid. We are parked up amongst hundreds of these volcanic islands, with there very unusual landscapes
