In the Suez canal, cool and sunny travelled 29,700, sudden change of temperature today and a fresh breeze, must be getting closer to home. Suez canal has no locks unlike the Panama canal and much wider with desert on the Saudi side and towns and plantations on the Egypt side. Was originally part owned by us and the French, but the Americans joined forces with Russia and forced us to give it to Egypt. Tomorrow we will be back in the med and our next port of call Ashdod in Israel..Photos of the Suez Canal transit
