Ships log day 71

Borneo, 16.03.2017

In Borneo very hot and sunny travelled 19,750 miles. Last night's show was Starlight Express, which we really enjoyed. Passed through a lot of oil fields off the coast, clearly a lot of wealth here at Brunie. This place is completely different, rich beyond your wildest dreams. Gold plated fences and domes, huge houses, 3 cars per person, no tax, no alcohol, no cigarettes, 27p per litre petrol, average 3 bed terrace house 25,000 pounds, no interest on mogages. The Sultan of Brunie pays for everything. Our tour took us around Brunie to see how the other half live, and what oil can provide and very Muslim. Tomorrow we are going to the North of Borneo.
