Ships log day 55

Townsville Australia, 28.02.2017

In Townsville Queensland famous as a gold rush town in the late 1800's. Very hot and sunny. Our tour was a 9 hour coach tour and took us to the oldest rainforest in the world. And our forest ranger took us on a 4 hour guided walk through the jungle showing us the nature with his his massive wealth of knowledge on all the birds and tropical plants. We then had a BBQ Angus Steak at least 2 inches thick (I kid u not) at a rangers hut called The Hidden Valley, also in the rainforest. Yet another highlight and in our element. So far for us Townsville would be the place to live. Photo of our ranger in the rain forest and Crystal Creek (below)
