Day 47: Crazy Market

Had a lazy morning at the hotel watching Friends with Eve. We headed out into the city and met up with Avani and Krupali for lunch, I had a bacon and avo sandwich with chips which was yummy! Afterwards, we headed to the Dong Xion indoor market which was crazy! Every inch of floor space was used to maximum capacity to sell everything from clothes and shoes to sunglasses and souvenirs. None of us ended up buying anything because the experience was far too overwhelming!! We headed back to the hotel for the afternoon. Eve and I watched a movie on Netflix and also packed up our bags ahead of our flight tomorrow. I’ll be so sad to say goodbye to Eve, we’ve been together for the last month and have made so many incredible memories. She heads off back to Ho Chi Minh tomorrow, to meet her friend Liv. They’ll continue their travels together for the next 4 months. I’m just glad Eve lives in the UK so we can see each other again. I know we’ll be friends for life. We had dinner in the evening at the Irish pub and then said goodbye to Shane who had also been with us for the past month. He was heading home back to the UK.
