Day 43: The capital

Took a flight this morning to Hanoi. On arriving in the capital, we headed straight off on a tour of the city visiting the Ho Chi Minh monument and also the temple of literature which was very beautiful. We had lunch at KOTO, a charity organisation which provides catering and hospitality training for hundreds of people in poverty. The food here was amazing! Went out for dinner in the evening to Lantern Lounge with Eve, such a cute hidden restaurant which we loved!! Took a cyclo back to the hotel, a very funny experience, and watched Friends in bed with M&M’s.
