Day 66: Brisbane we have arrived!

Up at 6am! We were catching the ferry back to the mainland at 8am. We then set off to Brisbane! On the way we stopped for a few hours at Noosa. This town was really beautiful! Sinead and I decided to sunbathe on a beach for a few hours and then we grabbed some lunch for the bus journey. I had sushi and a fruit smoothie. We arrived in Brisbane around 4:15pm, it was beautiful clear blue sky! Blake took myself, Sinead and Tessa for a walk round the city as the sun set. Brisbane looked so pretty at night with all the lights. We walked along the river past the famous Brisbane sign and then stopped by at a lie down light show which was really cool. We had dinner at a bar on the riverside, run by one of Blake’s previous passengers who gave us some free dinner! Porsha joined us with her boyfriend Ben who was really nice. We were also given a free beer each by a stranger who refused to admit who they were. I guess we’ll never know! Got back to the room and watched Love Island with Sinead while we waited for our laundry.
