Day 51: Singapore Sling!

Today is my last day in Singapore. This morning I headed to Orchard Road, one of the biggest and best shopping streets I have ever seen! Every 100m there was a different shopping mall and literally every shop I could think of from high street to luxury was there. I spent a few hours getting a few bits to update my traveller wardrobe. It was so nice being reunited with shops!! I stopped for lunch after shopping at Fun Toast and then caught the MRT to Little India. I had a wonder around this district and then also went to check out Arab Street where I saw the beautiful Sultan Mosque. This afternoon I went to the Long Bar at Raffles Hotel for one of their Signature Singapore slings which was so good! It was very pricy but worth it, £19 for a cocktail!! On the way back to the hostel, I stopped by Merlion Park for one last view of this amazing city. After another McDonald’s for dinner (oops) it was time to head back to the hostel for packing and an early night. I needed to be up at 5am for my flight tomorrow.
