Day 21: Bangkok again!

First on the agenda this morning was a trip to the Grand Palace with our tour guide Teya. We took a boat there and back along the river which was fab. It was great to have a tour guide this time to learn more about the history of Bangkok and it's royal family. Headed back to the hotel to pack up our things and then boarded our coach. We were heading to Kanchanaburi, which was a 4 hour coach journey. We stopped half way at a world war two cemetery. Our hotel this evening was incredible!! We stayed on a floating jungle raft hotel on the River Kwai, no electricity, no Wifi, no aircon but so so cool and peaceful. Had a swim in the evening along the river and then had dinner and games with the contiki fam.
