Day 90: I love you x

Mlebourne, 11.09.2019

Had a bit of a lazy morning cuddling in bed. Sam and I talked about me leaving next week, something we hadn't really spoke about much but with it being on my mind a lot, I needed to get it off my chest. Ended up getting quite emotional however it was a great time to tell Sam how I really felt, to tell him that I loved him. These were feelings that I had built up over the past three months of getting to know him and luckily, he felt the same way about me too.
To cheer ourselves up and take our minds off things, we headed to our favourite spot, the Pancake Parlour for breakfast. With the weather still being cold and wet we decided that we would have a fun, yet competitive day out. We set off for the arcade entertainment centre where we took part in pretty much all the games on offer! Mini golf, go karting, bowling and the arcade games. It was such a fun day out. While Sam was probably a lot better than me on the go karts, it's fair to say I whipped his ass at mini golf and bowling, something I'll never let him forget! On the way home we stopped at the farm where Sam wanted to take me for a ride in one of his trucks. It was so nice to see the smile on his face driving the truck and I was so impressed on how he did it with such ease, it was super long!! Tonight we headed to the Melbourne Star (second time lucky). We got there while it was still light so we decided to have dinner first at a nearby brewery restaurant. I had fish and chips and we both had a glass of moscato each, our new favourite. When the sun finally went down around 8:00pm, we boarded the Melbourne star. It was so much better than I expected given that we had a whole pod to ourselves. We had a glass of sparking wine each and watched the shimmering city lights as the wheel slowly moved around. I found the experience very romantic and enjoyed spending some quality time with Sam as we watched Melbourne beneath us.

A Trip of a Lifetime!
