Day 49: Flying Solo

Singapore, 09.29.2019

Up early this morning as I had made a jam packed itinerary! First I walked to Fort Canning Park, which stands on a hill that overlooks the city. This park was beautiful and a good way to start my morning. It was already very warm and muggy with not much breeze! I then spent a couple of hours exploring the museum which explained how Singapore came to be how it is today. The next part of my walking city tour was to walk past the National Gallery on my way to Purvis street where I had a Thai lunch, so yummy! After lunch, I took the opportunity to visit some of Singapore many malls! I went to H and M and Zara and bought a few bits. I walked past the Raffles hotel on my way to the Art and Science museum. The walk to this museum was so cool as you had to cross the double helix bridge. I really enjoyed the exhibitions at the Art and Science museum. I saw the Past meets Future one and the Floating Utopia one. For dinner I headed to Chinatown where I had some fried rice in a food hall.

A Trip of a Lifetime!
