Day 110: Fancy dress!

Today we journeyed to Lake Manipua! On the way we stopped off to do a coastal walk around the seal colony. We saw loads of seals which was good! Our next activity was to visit Pancake Rock which is how it sounds, rock formations which look like pancakes! On the way to the hostel Tahni stopped at a little town where we had the task of finding a fancy dress outfit for a party at the hostel tonight. As a bus, we chose the theme 'around the world'. We were very limited with the shops we could choose from and I ended up settling for convenience. I chose a Father Christmas pre-made outfit and decided I would be the country Lapland! Johnny also went for this option so we decided we would be Mr and Mrs Claus! This hostel was also really cool, more like a holiday park with a pub. There were hot tubs too so Meg, Johnny, Maddie and I decided to use those before dinner. Dinner was so yum, roast pork with gravy! After dinner, we went back to our room for some pre-drinks and to get into our fancy dress. This was a lot of fun and we had a good giggle at our own expense. At the party, our team managed to win two rounds of a drinking game so we celebrated with our winners shots!
