Day 106: ROAST DINNER!

We left Lake Taupo around 10am this morning, my legs were in a lot of pain after the walk yesterday! Our next stop on the tour was River Valley however on the way we stopped off at Taranaki Falls to do a 2 hour walk. This didn't seem very appealing after yesterday however it did really loosen up my legs! We had a long drive to River Valley and arrived around 5pm. The lodge that we were staying in was so cool! In the middle of nowhere, no phone reception, and just Kiwi Experience staying there! The bunk rooms had around 20 people in each, however I managed to bag the only single bed in the room which a lot of people were very jealous of!! A roast dinner was served to us at 7pm in the dining room and oh my, this was amazing! There were even Yorkshire Puddings but they were only little ones. We had a few drinks after dinner, some people more than others and then Alex, Ellie and I headed up to the dorm room to watch a movie!
