Day 53: Rain go away

Woke up this morning at 11am, I needed a good sleep! I headed to a Pancake House where I had a salmon and avocado pancake dish - so yummy, with a smoothie. It was a nice day, the sun was shining, so I walked around Cairns to get my bearings. It's only small, so it only took 10 minutes to walk to the harbour front. It started to get cloudy and grey in the afternoon, so I headed back to the hostel via the supermarket to get some caramel M&M's, english breakfast tea and some fruit! The rain came later so I stayed indoors and started Peaky Blinders on Netflix since Friends isn't on the Australian Netflix :(! Had lasagne for dinner in the evening at the hostel and then headed to the bar with Cayleigh. She introduced me to some girls from the UK that she'd been hanging out with and they were really nice. It was ladies night, so free champagne for the girls and later on there was a pole dancing competition, something I chose to watch rather than participate in!
