Day 23: Don't go chasing waterfalls

Ayutthaya, 09.03.2019

Today we were up early to set off to Erawan Waterfalls, an incredible 7 level waterfall in the Thai jungle. We were able to swim in the waterfalls and it was great as it wasn't busy at all. I wasn't going to go in, until I accidentally fell in, which Eve got on camera!! After lunch we drove 4 hours to Ayutthaya where we went on a bike ride tour straight away to see a few temples and the ruins of the old palace. My favourite one was the one that had a buddha's head entwined into it, no one knows how it got there! The tour leaders gave us some local snacks to finish the tour. One literally looked like blonde hair but tasted sooo good, like candyfloss! We had dinner near the train station and then boarded our overnight sleeper train (12 hours!) which would take us up to Chiang Mai. The train was surprisingly comfy and I had a really good sleep!
