Day 62: Farm Stay

We hit the road today around 8:30am after an amazing hotel breakfast. We had a long drive today to our Farm Stay! We stopped along the way at Rockhampton, at a shopping centre where I was able to buy some warmer clothes for the evenings. I got a hoodie and 2 tops for 15 dollars! I bought some sushi rolls for the rest of the journey, they were amazing. We arrived at Mayella Farm around 5pm, just in time to feed the calves their milk as the sun was setting. The farm was so nice and I could tell that I was going to enjoy our few nights here. It was run by a couple called Lin and Carl and they were such lovely people. They cooked us corned beef, mash and veggies for dinner which was so so nice! So good to have home cooked food for a change! Headed back to our room early and watched a couple of episodes of love island with Sinead in our living room area.
