Day 44: Ha Long Baes

Today we took a 3 hour drive to Ha Long Bay, stopping on the way at a beautiful art workshop operated by disabled people. The weather in Ha Long was insane, perfect for our 24 hours on board a Vietnamese junk boat. We cruised around all afternoon to see the beautiful scenery! We stopped off to do kayaking and also visited Ti Top island where we hiked to the top and took a swim in the sea. In the evening we watched the sun set on the top deck during happy hour, this was a moment I will always remember. Good times, good friends! We had a seafood dinner, played drinking games and danced on board the boat!
